Rainmaker Farm
Rainmaker Farm is the Gulch Environmental Foundation’s cornerstone project—a 160‑acre working farm in Noble County, Oklahoma. A creek runs through the land, feeding two ponds and a thriving ecosystem. What began as tilled wheat fields and cattle grazing—with an oil rig we removed first—has been transformed into a perennial, regenerative, no‑till farm with diverse crops and livestock. The lessons we learn at Rainmaker scale to make agriculture more sustainable and climate‑positive.
- Healthier soils that store more carbon and retain more water.
- Biodiversity corridors that invite pollinators and stabilize ecosystems.
- Community-positive agriculture that supports local livelihoods.
No‑till, cover crops, and perennials that build organic matter and store carbon.
